We are blessed to live in a tropical country with tons of gorgeous beaches to visit! *heart eyes*

Traveling locally is almost in everyone’s bucket list, because there is really a lot to see. Summer is around the corner, so why not kick it off by going to one of our local breathtaking beaches? We all love a hot photo on the beach for that feed! Instead of going to the usual Boracay and Batangas (don’t get us wrong, we love them all!), go explore a new beach destination that will be perfect for your Instahoe pics. Check out some suggestions for your next adventure:

1. Daku Island, Siargao

Siargao is becoming real popular these days, and it is worth the hype! There is so much to see and do in this beautiful island. Go island hopping to white sand beaches, surf the clear blue waters, and make new friends at the local parties! Daku Island, is just one of the many gorgeous beaches you can island hop to during your stay in Siargao. There are a lot of budget-friendly accommodations and restaurants that are also insta-worthy! *drools* One visit won’t be enough.

2. San Juan, La Union

An easier beach to go to (a 6-hour drive from Manila) is San Juan, La Union. It has been the go-to place for long weekends for many for the past year, and it’s not a surprise! Drink good coffee at El Union, eat good food all around the small surf town, catch good waves, watch the sunset (or sunrise) and party it out with everyone at Flotsam and Jetsam! It is a perfect place to go if you want to relax in the day and party at night as your quick getaway. You’re going to want to keep coming back.

3. Bulog Dos, Coron, Palawan

Coron, Palawan is real paradise on earth! You can experience the usual island hopping to crystal clear beaches but while looking at the gorgeous limestone rock formations, find hidden caves in the different islands, snorkel and discover the wonderful coral reefs of Coron, and even get to experience their African-like safari just four hours away from the town. Bulog-Dos is one of the popular places you have to have in your itinerary, it’s this gorgeous sand bar near Two Seasons resort. The town of Coron, which is Busuanga, has good places to eat too and very affordable accomodations. We swear, Coron is life-changing.

4. Caramoan, Camarines Sur

An underrated choice is this gorgeous white sand beach in Camarines Sur, Caramoan. You can reach this place by land by driving to Sorsogon and taking a boat from there. If La Union is up north, this destination is in the south. It is not overly developed yet, so you can expect 100% relaxation here. This will automatically be in your list of beaches to go to each year.

5. Virgin Island, Bohol

A post shared by Angel Dei (@_angeldei) on

Bohol is a place you’ve heard of but won’t be top of mind—but it should be. This city has glamorous beachfront hotels, white sand beaches, and a pretty good party scene. Make sure to visit Virgin Island in your island hopping adventure, it has fine white sand and they sell fresh buko and uni on site! Yum! It is also near a few more islands in the Visayas region, so you can even backpack your way through them. Definitely a destination you’ll repeat.

Go check the flights out of Manila and book that ticket to paradise. Or plan that road trip with your squad. When you visit our pristine beaches, please don’t forget to be environmentally conscious. Let’s all help to keep our shores clean!
