There’s truly nothing better than becoming a couch potato on lazy days a.k.a. when class is suspended, during sembreak and holidays. We all need a break from life, and I can’t think of anything else more worthy of our precious “free time” than binge watching TV shows. (Even better if you have a cuddle buddy to do it with. LOL.)
Speaking of shows, there are a lot that’s coming coming back and premiering for the next few months, and we don’t want you to miss out! So we’re rounding up the must-watch series for your next marathon sesh with your cuddle buddy:
The Good Doctor
The Good Doctor, airing this September, is a story based on the 2011 South Korean series and it will be starred by Freddie Highmore. The plot will revolve around Freddie, who is a young surgeon with autism in this series. Due to his disability, he will be judged and challenged by his colleagues—but because of his exceptional talent, he will stand out and prove them wrong.
Riverdale Season 2
Anyone who hasn’t seen Riverdale yet is either living under a rock or not a millennial. LOL. Anyways, the trailer answered our question from season 1—whether or not Archie’s dad is dead. But aside from that, the producers gave us a hint that we will see Archie’s dark side in this season and that #BugHead shippers should also get their hearts ready for more drama.
Stranger Things Season 2
The second installment of this Netflix sci-fi series starts this Halloween and again, if you haven’t seen it, now’s the time to start. For us, fans, we still don’t know where Barbs is; but what we know so far is that Will Byers might still be trapped in the upside down and our fave gal Eleven might have found a way to come out of it.
Do you also miss Pretty Little Liars? Well, Lucy Hale is having her own drama series on The CW and it’s about a sick girl who practically live her whole life thinking that she’ll die anytime soon, so she always just “lived in the moment”. Everything was in order until she found out her cancer got cured. Now her dilemma is how she could survive every day knowing that it isn’t her last.
Throwback feels! Raven’s Home is a sequel to That’s So Raven, which last aired 10 years ago on Disney Channel. One of our favorite Disney leads is back, although this time the show will not just focus on Raven, but also on her daughter—yes she’s already a mom in this sequel! Now I feel really old.
American Horror Story Season 7
Last season was all about a lost colony, but this season is cult time! Not cult-fave or anything but actual cult with creepy characters and rituals. Sadly, Lady Gaga and AHS senior Jessica Lange won’t be in this season, but we heard that Emma Roberts is coming back with her Scream Queens co-star Billie Lourd! Yes, can you get a taste of our excitement?!
If you have no freaking idea what this show is about, all you have to know is that the storyline revolves around over-privileged people (a.k.a. the one percenters), their complicated lives and how they get more complicated due to endless scheming. This is a must-watch for Gossip Girl fans ‘cause they kinda have the same theme plus same producers!
Which of these shows are you most excited to see? Tell us in the comments below and don’t forget to tag your Netflix-and-chill buddy!
